First Day of Middle School

I think I was more of a nervous wreck today than Spencer. He was so excited and came home with a smile on his face. He said everything went great and it's going to be a good year. That gave me a sigh of relief. Only thing, 6:15am sure comes early....

Grandma Hansen's Funeral

My grandma passed away a couple weeks ago. It was great to see my cousins and have the family together again, but funerals are never happy occasions. Going through the funeral process made me think of my mother and how much I really miss her.

Grandma Hansen is in a much better place now and surrounded by people who love and have missed her.

I was handed down all of the Hansen geneology books and the books of rememberance. It was so great to see the family pics of my mother when she was a little girl. There were also pics of my father when he was a young man. I have to say seeing all the information of past relatives is highly intriging. Maybe some day when things settle down in life I will be able to finish the geneology work.
