DISNEYLAND!

We made it and took a week to recoop. So we left Friday afternoon and arrived in Anaheim a little after midnight. Saturday we did Disneyland and it wore us out! We did Autopia, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean. Saw the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience 3D movie.

Saturday night, Spencer got sick and was sick through the night. Bad enough we had to change hotel rooms. Talk about an upgrade!!! We went from the priceline special, to the Hotel Monaco almost. But Sunday after some rest, he was ready to go at it again.

We took it easy on Sunday. Went to Pirate Island and saw Jack Sparrow. I think that made the trip for Spence. He was on cloud 9 after Jack gave him a necklace and talked to him. After that, we rode the monorail and did Nemo's Submarine adventure. We left the park on Sunday about 4pm and hit the road.

We were making some good time and then hit some deadlock traffic about an hour from Vegas. We sat on the freeway for and hour and a half. Finally, they cleared the accident and we were bookin' again. We made it to Mesquite at about 10 and were planning to stop for the night, but every hotel was booked, except for 1 room at the Best Western. It was a $100 bucks for the night, but I figured we would lose at least $50 at the tables, then another $30 for dinner.... so we decided to make the trip home. So, I tanked a couple Full Throttles and we pulled in the driveway at about 5:30am.

We had a great time. It was better for us to only invest 3 days into the trip, since we have never been. Now we know for next time the things we will do differently for sure. Enjoy the pics!
